From Goodreads
I saw this book when I was at the bookstore last week. It looks like a really cute story about a mother and daughter's bond. I think it would be an emotional read as they travel across country together. As much as my mom and I have our moments of disagreement, having a trip like this with her would be amazing. I can only image what it would be like. And since we probably won't ever do something like this, I'll have to live vicariously through this book.
What's on your wishlist this week?
This sounds like it could be really emotional in a good way. Will have to check it out, thanks for posting the rec!
ReplyDeleteI sent my only kidlet off to college last fall so I know this would have me crying my eyes out, lol. It sounds really sweet and the quilter in my loves the idea of taking pieces of all of the little past items of Molly's things and making a quilt. It's so sweet!
ReplyDeleteI hope you get to read this soon - it really sounds like a terrific book.
The Goodbye Quilt sounds touching and emotional. I don't know what it is about patchwork quilts but ,especially this one, they seem romantic and full of memories.
ReplyDeleteGreat choice!
