This week my teaser comes from self-published author, Susan Ee. I'm currently reading her debut novel, Angelfall. It hooked me right from the beginning. Here's my teaser:

I look to make sure the door is locked.
When I look back at the couch, the angel is gone, with only shreds of duct tape where he should be.
I feel a breath on my neck as the scissors are snatched out of my hand.

I'm really enjoying this book. I got it for review from the author a while ago, but never found the time to read it. I'm starting to regret that now, because I can't put it down! It's action packed and witty and I'm really looking forward to learning the story behind the angels.
